Farm to Table at SAM
Join us for a specially curated evening: Art & Feast — A Dinner Inspired by Farm to Table
Thursday, November 13, 2025 · 5:30 pm · Entry via the SAM Gift Shop
Immerse yourself in the world of culinary culture, visual art, and conviviality at SAM. In celebration of the landmark exhibition Farm to Table: Art, Food, and Identity in the Age of Impressionism, we invite you to an elegant, fixed-price dinner that mirrors the themes of the exhibit—how food, farming, markets and meals shape identity, community and artistic expression.
In Farm to Table, guests travel back to late-19th-century France, where more than 50 works by painters such as Claude Monet, Paul Gauguin, Camille Pissarro and their contemporaries explored the intimate relationships between land, labour, market, kitchen and table. The exhibition shows how cuisine became a lens for national identity, social change and artistic innovation.
Drawing on that rich connection between food and art, our evening will feature a thoughtfully composed menu (with vegan alternative) and optional wine pairing, set in the refined surroundings of SAM. Whether you’re stepping through the galleries or pausing to linger over conversation and taste, the experience is one of gastronomic and aesthetic discovery—where field meets table, palette meets plate.
